Project title *Perceptual FLUCTUATions* Project summary Our 4-year project addresses a central question: *Why do individuals differ in how their perceptual judgments are shaped by temporal context?* We will address this through an integrated behavioural, computational, and neurophysiological approach, focusing on the interaction between endogenous perceptual traits and external factors. The work involves *visual psychophysics, EEG, and computational modeling*. The successful candidate will be primarily based in *Lausanne*, with research visits to *ENS/CNRS*, allowing engagement with two complementary research environments. Job Advert: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCL

Dear Colleagues, I am writing to advertise a postdoctoral research fellow position at UCL working with Dr Alex Lloyd and Professor Jonathan Roiser. The postdoc will be working on a new project taking a data-driven approach to understanding how young people use social media, and how this is associated with vulnerability for mental health problems. We are looking for somebody with excellent coding abilities to collect and analyse real world social media data (e.g., those collected from data donations or Application Programming Interfaces). The role will start from April 2026 (or as close to this date as possible) until September 2028. Deadline for applications is January 16th. Help Shape the Future of Stroke Rehabilitation and Brain Stimulation We invite applications to join the Brain Dynamics Lab—an interdisciplinary research team at the interface of dynamical systems theory, brain network modelling, and neurostimulation-based rehabilitation. Our mission is to uncover and exploit the mechanisms of brain plasticity following stroke and neuromodulation, by combining cutting-edge modelling with real-world neurotechnology. We regard recovery not as anatomical repair, but as a problem of restoring network-level brain dynamics through non-invasive electrical stimulation (tDCS/tACS). We model the brain as a dynamical system perturbed by lesion, reconfigurable via stimulation-dependent plasticity. Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence for Medical Applications: Models, Reasoning, Perception, and Interaction ICPRAI 2026, Montréal, Québec, Canada, June, 2026 https://icprai2026.com/ Scope Artificial intelligence has seen remarkable progress in digital healthcare across areas such as learning algorithms, knowledge representation, perception, and interaction. From deep learning advances in vision and language, to reinforcement learning for control, to symbolic and neuro-symbolic hybrids for robust reasoning, modern AI systems are increasingly capable of understanding complex data, adapting to new tasks, and interacting with humans and environments.
