A Postdoctoral position is available at Emory University School of Medicine
on developing novel neuromodulation therapies for epilepsy and memory. The
research and training is focused on developing Big Data analytic tools and
machine learning algorithms for the optimization of neuromodulation
therapies.
The successful candidate will collaborate with scientists and clinicians in
the Departments of Biomedical Informatics, Neurosurgery, Neurology and
Biomedical Engineering at Emory University and Georgia Tech, Grenoble
University at France, and medical device industry partners.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical
Engineering, Computational Neuroscience or related fields with a strong
background in machine learning, optimization theory, multivariate analysis
and signal processing. Programming skill sets in Matlab and other languages
(e.g., C++ and python) would be key to a successful candidate.
