Department of Basic Neurosciences<https://neuro-unige.ch/>, Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva<https://www.unige.ch/medecine/en> and the National Centre for Competence in Research “Evolving Language”<https://evolvinglanguage.ch/> are looking for an Assistant Professor with Tenure Track or Associate Professor in computational neuroscience. Research interests of the successful candidate may include neural encoding of hierarchy in language, neural basis of compositional processing in language or compositional reasoning, neurocomputational principles of learning/memory systems supporting language. Applications from candidates whose research creates other meaningful connections between computational neuroscience and language are also welcome. Diverse methodological approaches will be valued, including evolutionarily- and biologically-plausible neural modelling.
