Research interests of the successful candidate may include neural encoding of hierarchy in language, neural basis of compositional processing in language or compositional reasoning, neurocomputational principles of learning/memory systems supporting language.
Applications from candidates whose research creates other meaningful connections between computational neuroscience and language are also welcome. Diverse methodological approaches will be valued, including evolutionarily- and biologically-plausible neural
modelling.
