Faculty Position in Neuroscience, NYU-Shanghai
*FACULTY POSITION* *Neuroscience**NYU Shanghai* Shanghai New York University (NYU Shanghai) invites applications for several assistant (tenure-track), associate (tenured), and full professor (tenured) positions from candidates with research programs in systems, computational, and cognitive neuroscience. The recruited faculty will also become members of a new neuroscience research institute, with the primary goal of understanding the mechanisms by which neural circuits in the brain generate cognition and flexible behavior. Neuroscientists at NYU Shanghai will also have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with researchers in Economics, Mathematics, Data Science and Engineering. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. or equivalent by the time of application. The successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent, extramurally-funded research program, play a key role in the growth of the new Neuroscience Institute, and to teach in NYU Shanghai. NYU Shanghai is the first Sino-US higher education joint venture to grant a degree that is accredited in the US as well as in China.
