PhD studentship in EEG dynamics and dementia - Newcastle (UK)
A PhD position is available at the Institute of Neuroscience, Newcastle University (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK). The project will investigate the utility of quantitative EEG as a confirmatory biomarker of dementia with Lewy bodies versus Alzheimer's disease, and will also include multimodal neuroimaging with DTI and MRI. This is a 3-year PhD funded by the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Newcastle University. The potential candidate will be based within the Lewy body Lab at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality (www.lewybodylab.org) with a strong collaboration with the Dynamic Connectome Lab ( http://www.dynamic-connectome.org/).
