Dear all, We are pleased to announce a hands-on tutorial on *Multiscale Modeling with MOOSE *at CNS*2025! *Saturday, July 11, 2026, 09:00 AM - 12:00 ADT PM, Room : 505* The objective of this tutorial is to familiarize participants with MOOSE, the Multiscale Object-Oriented Simulation Environment (https://mooseneuro.org), a comprehensive simulation platform designed for computational modeling in neuroscience and systems biology. In addition to tutorials on biophysical and biochemical models, we shall showcase new features of MOOSE, including *JARDESIGNER, *a web-based frontend for multiscale modeling. We will illustrate the use of *JARDESIGNER* and MOOSE to build and run spiking neuron models incorporating chemical signaling for neuromodulation and synaptic plasticity on spines. *Speakers:* Dr. Subhasis Ray, Prof. Upinder S. Bhalla, Dr. Bhanu Priya S *Schedule :* *9:00 am - 10:10 am *Hands-on sessions with modelling and simulation in Jardesigner. *10:40 am - 12:00 pm* Building single-neuron models to multiscale neuronal models using Python Scripting in MOOSE. We will also present a poster titled *"JARDESIGNER : Installation-free-in-browser **modeling with signaling and conductances in multicompartment neurons" *on *July 14th, 2026 in Ballroom B2 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, ADT. * Find the abstract here https://cns2026.sched.com/event/2PxP1/p100-jardesigner-installation-free-in-... More details can be found here: https://cns2026.sched.com/ <https://cns2025florence.sched.com/event/24uTo/p252-developments-around-moose...> Please feel free to share this announcement with anyone who might be interested. -- Cheers!
