We (the group of Prof. Wolfgang Maass) accept applications for a fully funded Phd position for research in the intersection of neuroscience and AI. This Phd student will work with our team on reverse engineering data-based models for cortical microcircuits and their learning capabilities, as for example in --Analysis of visual processing capabilities and neural coding strategies of a detailed model for laminar cortical microcircuits in mouse V1 (G.
