Fully-funded PhD studentship: Neuro-inspired medical image processing based on hardware implementation. Applications are invited for a fully-funded PhD studentship (£13,750 pa for three years), to conduct research into neuro-inspired medical image processing. The project will develop new computational models of visual system for medical image processing, based on recent ideas from computer vision, spatial statistics and time-series analysis. The models will be implemented in an embedded hardware platform. All nationalities are eligible to apply, for details see: http://www.wlv.ac.uk/research/research-studentships/university-funded-phd-st...
