EMBO Course “Quantifying Astrocyte Physiology by Models from Genome to Circuits,” April 10–11, 2025, University of Padua, Padua, Italy
Dear colleagues, Please share and disseminate through your network. On behalf of all the organizers, I am happy to announce that registrations are now open for the EMBO Course on “Quantifying Astrocyte Physiology by Models from Genome to Circuits” hosted by the University of Padua, in Padua, Italy, on April 10–11, 2025 https://sites.google.com/view/embo-satellite-meeting/home The course is a Satellite Event of the EMBO Workshop “Astrocytes: From Molecules to Systems,” which will follow in nearby Venice a couple of days later (April 14–18, 2025). The EMBO Course “Quantifying Astrocyte Physiology by Models from Genome to Circuits” is a two-day intensive course aimed at teaching essential modeling approaches to harness astrocyte biology revolving around four main themes such as (i) astrocyte genomics, (ii) intracellular calcium signaling, (iii) tripartite synapses, (iv) neuron-astrocyte networks. The course is open to researchers of any level in the Academia and Industry. Registration Policy Attendance to the Course is limited to 50 participants due to limited seating. Registrants that are also planning to attend the EMBO Workshop “Astrocytes: From Molecules to Systems” should register through this latter’s website: https://meetings.embo.org/event/25-astrocytes People who will not be selected to attend the EMBO Workshop “Astrocytes: From Molecules to Systems” can still opt to participate in the course by registering through the course website: https://sites.google.com/view/embo-satellite-meeting/home Thank you for your consideration.
