FENS Satellite on Dynamic Auditory Predictions in Human and Non-human Primates – Call for Abstracts
Dear Colleagues, In conjunction with this year’s FENS Forum, we are thrilled to announce a satellite symposium on ‘Dynamic Auditory Predictions in Human and Non-human Primates,’ short Dynamates Symposium, taking place in Vienna, Austria, on Monday, June 24, 2024. This symposium brings together experts in the field of cognitive neuroscience, cognitive biology and computational modeling to address key questions in predictive auditory processing with a focus on spatial and temporal auditory perception in volatile environments. It will cover purely behavioural approaches as well as combinations with eyetracking, EEG and other neuroimaging modalities. Invited speakers: - Florent Meyniel (Neurospin, CEA Paris-Saclay, France) - John van Opstal (Donders Centre for Neuroscience, Netherlands) - Simone Pika (Institute of Cognitive Science, University of Osnabrück, Germany) - Barbara Shinn-Cunningham (Carnegie Mellon Neuroscience Institute, USA) Registration: - Fill out this form <https://leidenuniv.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_22WteXETC6Ay47A> - First come first serve (max. 80 participants) - Registrants encouraged to submit a poster abstract - Deadline: March 27, 2024 For further details, visit our symposium webpage <https://www.oeaw.ac.at/en/ari/forschung/fachbereiche-teams/hoeren/dynamates-...>.
