*The Department for Sensory and Sensorimotor Systems of the **Max-Planck-Institute for Biological **Cybernetics*studies the processing of sensory information (visual, auditory, tactile, olfactoy) in the brain and the use of this information for directing body movements and making cognitive decisions.
