PhD position in Computational Neuroscience, Maastricht University, the Netherlands - application deadline 18 May

We're excited to announce a fully funded PhD position at the Maastricht Centre for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics (MaCSBio), Maastricht University. This PhD project will focus on computational modelling of the corticothalamic circuitry to investigate its role in auditory attention. By combining computational neuroscience, ultra-high field fMRI, and laminar intracranial EEG, you will explore how the brain selectively processes sounds. The project is co-supervised by Dr. Ryszard Auksztulewicz and Dr. Michelle Moerel, and will be carried out within an international and interdisciplinary team. We welcome applicants with a Master's degree in computational neuroscience, computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline. Strong programming skills are essential; prior experience with computational neuroscience is a plus.
