Johnatan Aljadeff is recruiting a motivated postdoc to join his lab at UCSD, to investigate theoretical models of synaptic plasticity and learning of spatial representations. The CRCNS project is funded for a 4-year period, and is conducted in close collaboration with Nachum Ulanovsky's lab at the Weizmann Institute. The ideal candidate will have a quantitative background (math / physics / CS / EE / comp. neuro., etc.). Prior experience working on problems in neuroscience is welcome but not required.
