A three-year position as PhD Research Fellow in computational neuroscience/brain physics is available at the Department of Physics at the University of Oslo. Starting date as soon as possible, and preferably no later than March 1, 2026. The position is funded by EU Horizon and part of the Marie Sklodwoska-Curie Doctoral Network NeuroNanotech<https://neuronanotech.eu/the-network/>: ‘Integrating Nanotechnology and Neurocomputational Modeling for Advanced Brain Interfaces’. The NeuroNanotech project aims to develop next-generation neurotechnological tools by integrating computational and experimental approaches to understand how nanoscale materials and electromagnetic interactions affect brain function. The PhD project will focus on biophysical modeling of electrical and magnetic brain signals and the mechanisms through which externally applied fields influence neural dynamics.
