Carmen Canavier at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans is recruiting a computational neuroscientist(s) at the postdoctoral or staff scientist level. One project involves modeling the local circuit in the medial entorhinal cortex with respect to theta nested gamma and grid cell activity and the other involves modeling the local circuit in hippocampal area CA1 with respect to cholinergic modulation and place field formation.
