2nd Workshop on Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation 2021
Dear colleagues, We want to invite you to join the 2nd Workshop on Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) 2021! The meeting will be held *online on June 3-4*. The registration and abstract submission *deadline is the 23rd of Ma*y ( https://NIBS-Workshop.umn.edu). Non-invasive tools capable of selectively manipulating neural systems in the human brain are needed to advance our neuroscientific understanding of brain function and develop novel therapeutic strategies. The workshop includes lectures and hands-on sessions. Transcranial magnetic stimulation ( *TMS*), transcranial direct current stimulation (*tDCS*), and transcranial alternating current stimulation (*tACS*) modulate neural activity by inducing electric fields in the brain. Increasingly, these approaches are combined with computational head modeling and imaging methods such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) or electroencephalography (EEG). Over two days, attendees will hear about state-of-the-art modeling methods in non-invasive brain stimulation, their combination with imaging methods, and practical applications in clinical science.
