POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN SYSTEMS NEUROSCIENCE University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia PA A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Auditory Coding under direction of Dr. Maria Neimark Geffen at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine to study the neural mechanisms of hearing and emotional learning in the auditory cortex of awake rodents. We invite applications from talented, energetic and enthusiastic candidates with (or expecting) a Ph.D. in life sciences. The techniques include electrophysiological recordings, imaging and optogenetics in awake behaving rodents. Experience in either electrophysiology, imaging or behavioral studies is required.
