Postdoc in Computational Neuroimaging at the UVA School of Data Science
Dear colleagues, I am delighted to announce that the School of Data Science at the University of Virginia (USA) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher. This position is dedicated to advancing our understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder through the evaluation of new biomarkers in neuroimaging data. The School of Data Science, founded in 2019 and the first of its kind in the nation, offers a unique multidisciplinary environment, where candidates can expand their professional network through collaborations with various departments and institutes across UVA, such as Psychology and the Brain Institute. Candidates must possess a terminal degree in computer science, neuroscience, psychology, engineering, physics, mathematics, or related discipline by the start date of the position. Preference will be given to applicants that possess the following: * Established experience in analyzing neuroimaging data (fMRI and/or diffusion MRI) and/or machine/deep learning. * Experience with statistical/scientific programming languages (expertise in Python, Matlab, and/or R preferred). * Topical expertise in statistical and computational approaches (e.g., regression, clustering, signal processing). * Demonstrated ability to complete projects as evidenced by first-author publications. This is a one-year appointment, renewable for an additional year contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance.
