A funding opportunity for Assistive Technology for ALS patients
The ALS Association and Prize4Life's are happy to anounce the launch of a new program to promote ALS technology development- *the ALS Assistive Technology Challenge* <http://www.alsa.org/research/als-assistive-technology-challenge-2.html>*- *a program focused around accelerating the development of communication technologies for locked in patients with development funds of over $500,000. *In the challenge, open until July 29, teams can participate in a $400,000 challenge to develop a prototype that will enable communication for ALS patients.
