"Rita Levi-Montalcini" Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship The Quantitative Life Sciences (QLS) section of the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) seeks applications for one postdoctoral position starting spring/summer 2025 from outstanding young scientists of any nationality with a strong research record. Candidates should be able to carry active multidisciplinary research in the area of Theoretical and computational neuroscience Candidates from underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply. ICTP is a UNESCO Category 1 research institute supporting science and education in the developing world, and promotes worldwide initiatives for the career development of Women in Science. The QLS section provides a unique international, multidisciplinary research environment for postdoctoral fellows with about 15 group members (faculty, postdocs, graduate students and visitors) an intense program of workshops and conferences, close collaborations with local institutions (SISSA, ICGEB, Trieste University) and internationally-renowned research institutions. Postdoctoral fellows are encouraged, and supported, to participate in activities in developing countries in order to promote the mission of the ICTP and to contribute to the teaching activities of the ICTP QLS Diploma program.
