Dear all, This is about a PhD position to work in Potsdam with Michael Rosenblum (http://www.stat.physik.uni-potsdam.de/~mros/) in physics and neuroscience: Ph.D. position in physics at the University of Potsdam, Germany, to be filled as soon as possible. The successful candidate shall possess a master's degree in physics with specialization in complex systems/nonlinear dynamics and be interested in interdisciplinary research. The project implies cooperation between the Institut of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Potsdam (where the student will be enrolled) and neuroscientists and clinical researchers from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The project aims to develop advanced techniques for neurostimulation used to treat Parkinson's disease. try to translate these techniques into clinical practice. The project is a part of a large cooperative study funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
