Our research interests broadly include: 1) Integrative statistical models of big neuroscience networks. 2) Evolutionary principles of brain network organization. 3) Information transfer in neural systems. 4) Neuropsychiatric connectivity phenotypes. We are recruiting a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our lab. The position will be based at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and will be supervised by Dr. Mika Rubinov. There will be opportunities to develop exciting research ideas at the intersection of systems neuroscience, evolutionary neuroscience, network science and data science, and to collaborate with leading investigators at Vanderbilt University and Janelia Research Campus (Howard Hughes Medical Institute). The successful applicant should be passionate about neuroscience and understanding the brain, have good programming skills, and a strong background in a quantitative discipline, including but not limited to network science, computational neuroscience, computational biology, mathematics, physics, computer science, or electrical engineering. Preference will be given to applicants with a good publication record and with experience in analysis of complex datasets. The applicant must have completed their PhD by the start of this position.
