A fully funded postdoc position is available in the research group of Dr. Gal Mishne at the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) at UC San Diego. This position is part of a multi-disciplinary project <https://ucsdnews.ucsd.edu/pressrelease/keck-foundation-study-dementia> in collaboration with the Ferguson <http://fergusonlab.ucsd.edu/> and Schöneberg <https://www.schoeneberglab.org/home> labs at UCSD to study dementia. Research will be primarily focused on developing models and analysis methods for dynamical networks extracted from cutting-edge 4D lattice light-sheet imaging of brain organoids collected in the Schöneberg lab. The position offers excellent interdisciplinary training possibilities at the intersection of machine learning, applied mathematics and biology. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in electrical/biomedical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, neuroscience, or other related fields.
