2 PhD positions in Sensory Neurotechnology in the Reichenbach lab, Friedrich-Alexander-University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany The newly founded Chair for Sensory Neuroengineering, headed by Tobias Reichenbach, at the new Department Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Engineering is looking for two PhD students. In close collaboration with clinical and industrial partners, the lab researches on the neural foundations of hearing, as well as on new technology for better treatments of hearing impairment. The PhD students will develop and apply AI methods to analyse neurological data on human speech processing. They will also develop AI methods to construct audiovisual speech signals for better speech comprehension. FAU is the most innovative university in Germany and ranks second among the most innovative European universities. It is located in one of the most attractive regions in Germany.
