Dear colleagues/students, A Ph.D. position is available in the Adaptive Decisions lab/Banerjee lab working closely with Professor Andrew Jackson's lab as a part of Neuroscience and Neurological Disorders research theme, Biosciences Institute, Newcastle University, UK. The research carried out as part of the MRC funded Ph.D. fellowship will investigate the role of behaviourally relevant neural circuits in decision-making and its dysfunctions in animals models of autism spectrum disorders using experimental (in vivo imaging/physiology) and theoretical approaches (PNAS 2016; Brain 2019; Nature 2020). Exciting local and international collaborations will ensure a high standard of training and mentorship.
