Lead, guide and coordinate the development of Biomedical Engineering at UOW, in one of the top Engineering faculties in Australia, ranked 6th in Australia and 83rd in the world (THE, World Rankings by Subject 2022). This position will be a discipline lead in the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic, and Biomedical (MMMB) Engineering, which offers a unique mix of study and research areas embracing sustainable manufacturing, green power, robotics, medical devices and much more. The Biomedical Engineering discipline has been established to focus on research and development of novel medical and diagnostic devices including prosthetics, orthotics, assistive and rehabilitation devices, artificial organs, tools, systems and technology to deliver substantial healthcare benefit and improve the quality of life for individuals.
