Thanks a lot --------------------------------------- We are seeking applications for 2 post-doc researchers to join the Co-Learn project, funded by the BIDT (Bavarian Institute for Digital Transformation). The general goal of the project is to develop an intelligent artificial tutor to improve human learning. One post-doctoral position will focus on the human side of reinforcement learning through vision and touch, the other on the role of metacognitive confidence and trust. The team also include another PHD (in machine-learning). Senior project members include Prof. Ophelia Deroy, Prof. Merle Fairhurst, Prof. Maximilian Moll and Prof. Vincent Hayward (Paris). The appointees will be expected to program and conduct experimental research in the topics relevant to the project (esp. reinforcement learning, multisensory perception) To write, publish and disseminate research results to participate in the research activities of the project. Requirements The successful candidates will have ยท a PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or related disciplines carried out and published empirical research knowledge of experimental design, statistics, modelling and data analysis strong command of computer programming (R, Python, Matlab) is highly desirable a strong sense of leadership and initiative interest in interdisciplinary projects. knowledge of German language is not mandatory.
