The Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), located in Bilbao (Spain), is recruiting a Ph.D. student for a 3-year project in Computational Neurobiology within the framework of the H2020 ASTROTECH International Training Network (http://www.astrotechproject.eu/). The student will be based in Bilbao (Spain) and enroll in the Graduate Program in Neuroscience of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country. They will work under my supervision and that of Christophe Bernard (Aix-Marseille University, France). The project revolves around modeling the neuron-glial-vascular unit, focusing on epilepsy and neurodegeneration and emphasizing clinical technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious and brilliant candidates to gain expertise in the emerging field of computational modeling of neuron-glial interactions in an exceptional international setting.
