Position available: Computational specialist for neuroscience research (research tech or postdoc) Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri Our laboratory conducts visual neuroscience research using electrophysiology and artificial neural networks. We are looking for candidates with experience in Python and C++, and with interest in deep learning approaches. The ideal candidate will help implement third-party software, working closely with biologists in designing and/or performing experiments. Salary based on experience. Requirements: strong interest in visual neuroscience. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in scientific field, computer science and/or engineering. Experience with Python/C++ programming (Linux/Windows). Preferred but not required: Familiarity with data analysis and statistics,Matlab, coding high-performance computing software (including container technology), optimizing parallelized and GPU-based code.
