*Research Fellow position in UCL Institute of Neurology: Electrophysiology and Computational Modelling of Neurological Diseases* We are seeking a Research Fellow to join our team and use Neuropixels technology in vivo to assess the excitability of brain regions in models of neurological diseases. This project is a key part of a broader research program focused on optimising gene therapy for neurological disorders, with the goal of clinical translation. The post is available from 01 February 2025 and is part of an Advanced Research + Invention Agency-funded project, subject to contract negotiations, until 31 January 2027 in the first instance. You will have a PhD or equivalent in Neuroscience (or a related discipline) as well as experience with experimental rodent models of neurological diseases (e.g., epilepsy, dementia, or schizophrenia) and proficiency in electrophysiology, stereotaxic surgery, and electrode implantation.
