The Neuroinformatics research group (Prof. Dr. Gordon Pipa) of the Institute of Cognitive Science invites applications for a Research Assistant.
The Neuroinformatics group research topics are cantered on how cognitive functions are implemented in the brain. This includes the use of models or simulations of complex or neuro-inspired artificial systems, the development of machine learning approaches and analysis of complex (neuronal) dynamical systems. The core goal is to unravel the information processing principles of neuro-inspired information processing.
Experience or a strong interest is highly encouraged in the following areas:
Applications with the usual documentation should be submitted by e-mail in a single PDF-file to the Director of the Institute of Cognitive Science (office-ikw@uni-osnabrueck.de) no later than January 4, 2026.
