This online course is for researchers who wish to simulate user-defined dynamical models using the Brain Dynamics Toolbox (bdtoolbox.org). The toolbox allows the dynamics of any model to be explored interactively with minimal programming effort. Video lectures guide the student through every step of the process with a practical focus on the art of programming differential equations. Topics include Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Delay Differential Equations, Stochastic Differential Equations, Auxiliary Plot Functions and command-line tools. Example code is provided in all cases. Study time is 8 hours.
