The Cowley group is recruiting a bioAI PhD student to start Fall 2026 at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in NY, USA (about an hour from NYC). This is a brand new PhD program track for students already with Master's degrees in a quantitative field (CS/engineering/physics, etc.) to build and apply computational approaches in cutting edge biological experiments.  

The Cowley group builds data-driven AI models to predict neural responses and behavior. We focus on closed-loop, active learning experiments that combine data collection and model training.
