Dear colleagues,
This Summer School is
intended for PhD students and early postdocs from the field of
cognitive and systems neuroscience working with non-human
primates and will provide an outstanding training and networking
opportunity for young researchers. Teaching will focus on
cognitive processes in primate sensory and motor systems as well
as on social settings and decision making, and will include
important and novel results and methodologies. Topics of animal
welfare, ethics, and media outreach will also be covered. A
poster presentation about current research of the participant is
expected.
Selection of
applicants is competitive. Since funding of this School is
mostly covered (including meals and accommodation for the two weeks), only a reduced
participation fee is required (1000 EUR). A limited number of
travel grants is also available for international participants.
