TIGP-Interdisciplinary Neuroscience (INS)
━ Apply Now (Deadline March-31)
The Interdisciplinary Neuroscience (INS) graduate program aims to study
neuroscience using integrated approaches from chemistry, molecular
and cellular biology, physiology, imaging, and computer science.
Historically, it has been a great challenge to integrate distinct disciplines
in order to discover the causes and to explore efficacious treatments for
neurological and psychiatric disorders. Therefore, the Neuroscience
Program at Academia Sinica (NPAS) has decided to establish the INS
graduate program, in training students at the PhD level to perform
neuroscience research with multidisciplinary approaches, by teaming up
the School of Life Sciences and the School of Medicine at the National
Yang-Ming University (NYMU) in 2013 and the Institute of Clinical Medicine
at the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in 2014. Note that NPAS is
an on-campus research program that promotes interaction and collaboration
under the goal of promoting excellence in neuroscience research and
education at the international level.
Program Features:
1. Neural Development/Degeneration,
2. Molecular/Cellular Neuroscience,
