Postdoctoral position in computational neuroscience

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to model sympathetic neurons and circuits and their plasticity and homeostasis in the context of spinal cord injury. The position is part of an NIH-funded, collaborative research project with the Hochman lab at Emory’s Department of Physiology.

The Prinz lab is embedded in a highly interactive research environment of multiple computational and experimental neuroscience labs in the Department of Biology, at Emory University, and in the wider Atlanta area neuroscience community.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in neuroscience and computer modeling. Experience with electrophysiology is desirable, although not required. The position is available immediately.
