Dear Colleagues,
An exciting opportunity is available for pre-doctoral researchers to work at the interface of data and neuroscience: the
2025-2026 Shanahan Postbac/Undergraduate fellowship at the Allen Institute and University of Washington Computational Neuroscience Center.
These roles are open to both current undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students. Student fellows will be mentored by a current Shanahan Fellow, and they will gain hands-on research experience in neural computation, neural networks, and
computational modeling/method development. Students will join a vibrant interdisciplinary research community with the opportunity to work with researchers at all levels at University of Washington and Allen Institute.

Multiple projects are available. If you are interested in bio-realistic simulations of brain circuits, apply for the project with Maria Tikhanovskaya.
Best regards,
Anton.
