this is to announce the forthcoming 10
th Neuroengineering Summer School Massimo Grattarola (Camogli - Genova, ITALY - June 8
th - 10
th 2026). The topic of this edition is "
Bridge the gap: multiscale approaches in neurodevelopmental
disorders" (
https://neuroengineering.eu/).
The program (lectures by leading experts, interdisciplinary discussions, and a hands-on workshop on neuroengineering technologies) will cover the full spectrum of investigation—from
clinical observations and patient-derived cellular models to in vivo systems and computational “digital twin” models designed to predict personalized therapeutic responses.
The deadline for the early bird application (including all-inclusive accommodation and meals)
is April 30th .
Applicants can be junior scientists (PhD students and Post-Doc fellows or residency students).
Registration for the School is limited to 40 participants.
Following the School, a two-day workshop (Camogli, June 11
th - 12
th,
https://neuroengineering.eu/workshop) introduces
participants to the main technologies for designing, building, and analyzing 2D and 3D bioengineered neural networks by means of hands-on laboratory and computer-based sessions on biomaterials, brain-on-a-chip systems, electrophysiology, and advanced imaging.
The deadline for the early bird application (including all-inclusive accommodation and meals)
is April 30th .
Registration for the workshop is limited to 30 participants.
Fee discount for the registration School + Workshop.
For more information, please contact the School (Gabriele Arnulfo and Monica Frega) and/or Workshop (Martina Brofiga, Donatella di Lisa, Chiara Magliaro) organizers.
see you
