Applications are now open for the 2026 Eresfjord Summer School in Mathematical Methods in Computational Neuroscience, which will take place from July 6–24, 2026.

The school provides in-depth training in mathematical and theoretical methods widely used in computational neuroscience, including:

Information theory and statistical inference
Statistical mechanics of neural networks
Network dynamics
Dimensionality reduction
Applications to sensory and motor systems, navigation, and memory

The program is primarily intended for PhD students, but advanced Master’s students (who will have defended before July 2026) and first-year postdoctoral researchers are also welcome to apply. There are no registration fees. Accommodation and meals will be covered for all selected participants. Attendance for the full duration of the school is mandatory.

Application deadline: March 15, 2026
Notifications will be sent by the end of April 2026.
