Dear all,
I am pleased to announce our program for researchers looking to spin out their research, as well as our open-source platform for PhDs, postdoc and young PIs looking to explore innovation or forge careers beyond academia. I hope this may be useful
to those in the computational neuroscience community looking to get involved in innovation, or those simply exploring!
This year we brought together close to 500 scientists and engineers across 12 different hubs in Europe, the UK and the US to talk about innovation, entrepreneurship and unconventional paths. We’ve partnered with 22 leading institutions across the US and Europe
including MIT and Oxford. And there's something for everyone:
For those exploring new career paths, be it as founders, at startups, or as entrepreneurial group leaders:
Join the global community of researchers and industry scientists on our open-source
Wilbe
Sandbox, where you can connect, learn, and explore a variety of career opportunities beyond academia. Because we manually vet every single scientist on the platform we have limited capacity to allow people in. Only
50 spots are left for December, and then 150 will be open in January.
For those ready to build their company and avoid expensive mistakes:
The Bootcamp for Scientist Founders (BSF) is a high-intensity, practical crash course designed to help you make smart, and fast decisions as you build. Free for selected applicants. Applications are open until January 19, 2025. Learn
more and apply at wilbe.com/bsf.
