Job Description:
The Department of Biology at Saint Michael’s College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty
position for an assistant professor of biology starting August 2015. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the team teaching of introductory biology and to teach upper-level lecture and laboratory courses in Developmental Biology and
one of the following organismal fields: Anatomy, Physiology, or Neurobiology, thus enhancing the department’s offerings for students interested in post-graduate opportunities in health care. The successful candidate must maintain a productive scholarship
program focusing on research providing opportunities for student involvement. Please note that the Biology Department does not have facilities to maintain live mammals or birds; the successful candidate should have a research program compatible with an undergraduate
