The Faculty of Engineering in Bristol University is looking to appoint a professor in AI; this opening isn't specific to computational neuroscience but candidates from the AI / ML part of computational neuroscience or cognitive science would certainly be considered, the Neural Computation group in Bristol are involved in the search and will be part of any discussion about who to appoint. Neural Computation is an important part of the machine learning community in Bristol, we are involve in teaching AI and are recognized as contributing a lot to the research profile of the university in this area.
