Systems Vision Science (SVS) Virtual Symposium: July 31, 202614:00-18:00 German Time

as the end of the Systems Vision Science Virtual Summer School, which is a virtual edition of the onsite summer schools and symposiums of SVS.
 
We invite free registration and contribution for symposium participation and/or contribution.

The symposium will include two keynote speeches (30 min each):

Corticocortical Feedback as a Unifying Mechanism for Visual Perception and Learning” by Wu Li, 
State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University

"Using illusions and art to understand the visual brain" by
Patrick Cavanagh, 
Center for Vision Research, York University

and invited and contributed speeches (15 minutes each). 

Invited speakers include Daniel Anthes, Marlene Behrmann, Marisa Carrasco, Winrich Freiwald, Richard Krauzlis, Lisa Kroell, and Zygmund Pizlo.

The presentation topics  will be any of Systems Vision Science, which combines computational, behavioral, and neuroscience methods 
to discover and investigate functions and algorithms  for vision in various brain regions and their implementations in neural circuits.

submitting contribution is July 12, 2026, and registration without contribution is open until capacity is reached.
