Call for Participation
We are excited to announce the launch of the Advanced Neural Data
Analysis and Neuroinformatics school (ANDA-NI), a successor of the
popular ANDA courses held since 2017. The program is targeted to
students and researchers in neuroscience who are eager to enhance
their skills in analyzing and managing complex cellular and
network-level neuroelectrophysiological data.
== Aims ==
- Gain practical experience in analyzing and managing
electrophysiological datasets that you bring to the school.
- Learn to put the latest neuroinformatics tools to use.
- Work closely with experts in the field.
== Synopsis ==
Techniques to record neuronal data from populations of neurons are
rapidly improving, allowing for simultaneous recordings from
hundreds of channels while animals perform complex behavioral tasks.
The analysis of such massive and intricate data sets poses
significant challenges. ANDA-NI aims to equip participants with
theoretical and practical training in state-of-the-art analysis
approaches for neurophysiological data.
In addition, the school emphasizes the importance of data management
to facilitate collaborative efforts in data analysis within research
teams. ANDA-NI offers in-depth practical training on working with
electrophysiological data in a collaborative environment and
implementing workflows using current neuroinformatics tools.
== Application Details ==
The school will be held in a hybrid fashion, with an in-person
workshop of one week held at the Research Center Jülich, Germany.
Application deadline: July 31, 2024
Participation is limited to 14 participants to allow for an
interactive and intense learning environment.
