We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to computationally and theoretically study the effects of thermal gradients in synaptic plasticity. This is an area of research with potential translational and engineering applications. This is also a unique opportunity for those that want to explore working along the lines of interest of the Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL). Furthermore, the funds and benefits dedicated for the training of the selected candidate are way better than what you can get in a traditional postdoctoral position.

This research is part of a collaboration between the University of Texas at San Antonio, an R1 institution, and the AFRL.
