International Symposium on the Neuromechanics of Human Movement
4-6 October 2016, Heidelberg, Germany
Reminder: Approaching abstract submission deadline, 30th April 2016
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Researchers working in neuroscience, biomechanics and robotics with a focus on human movements are invited to submit their work to the Neuromechanics 2016 symposium: http://orb.iwr.uni-heidelberg.de/neuromechanics2016/abstract-submissions/

The symposium will feature talks by renowned speakers working in, and across, these fields. In addition, there will be poster sessions and ample opportunities for discussions in formal and informal settings.
List of speakers: http://orb.iwr.uni-heidelberg.de/neuromechanics2016/speakers/

Researchers are welcome to present their work as posters or fill the few remaining speaker slots (please indicate your preference during submission). Please note that this will be a 2.5 day single track event with a limited number of participants.

As an added incentive, selected high quality abstracts will be invited to submit full length papers to the newly established journal research topic titled:
"Neuromechanics and Control of Physical Behavior: from Experimental and Computational Formulations to Bio-inspired Technologies".
The research topic is edited by Massimo Sartori, Manish Sreenivasa, Alfred Schouten, Matthew Tresch, Yoshihiko Nakamura and Francisco Valero-Cuevas, and appears in the journals Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience, and, Frontiers in Neurorobotics: journal.frontiersin.org/researchtopic/4698
