         COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE in Göttingen, Germany

The course is intended to provide graduate students and young researchers from within and outside of neuroscience with working knowledge of theory and analysis methods used in the field and to acquaint them with recent developments therein. The focus of this year's course is modelling and theory of neuronal ensembles.

 

The course includes tutorials and lectures from the following researchers:

 

   * Carl Van Vreesijk, Universite Rene Descartes, Paris, France

   * Claudia Clopath, Imperial College London, London, England

   * Srdjan Ostojic, École Normale Supérieure, Paris, France

   * Gasper Tkacik, Institute of Science and Technology, Vienna, Austria

   * Alfonso Renart, Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown, Lisbon, Portugal

 

The course takes place at the Department of Nonlinear Dynamics of the Max-Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, Göttingen.

 

A course fee of 100 Euro includes participation in the tutorials, study materials, and part of the social events. The number of participants is limited to 30. Course language is English.
