Postdoctoral Associate in Computational Neuroscience of Learning and Memory

A NSF-funded postdoctoral position is immediately available in the group of Dr. Yuri Dabaghian at the University of Texas in Houston. The goal of the projects is to understand the hippocampal mechanisms of learning and memory using computational topological and geometric approaches, neuronal network theory. The projects involve both computational modeling and analyses of in-vivo electrophysiological data provided by experimental collaborators. 

The ideal candidate should have a strong in background Computational Neuroscience, Applied Mathematics, Theoretical Physics or similar.
