We invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher at the Rehab and Neural Engineering Labs (RNEL), University of Pittsburgh. RNEL offers a highly collaborative environment where BCI and neurostimulation groups work together with the mission to improve the quality of life of individuals with neurological impairments.


The postdoctoral researcher will lead a pioneering research to test the efficacy and safety of spinal cord stimulation and deep brain stimulation to improve motor and cognitive function for children with Cerebral Palsy.  This role involves:

The ideal candidate has a background in Mathematics, Physics, Computational Neuroscience, Neuroengineering or any related field. Experience in clinical trials is not required but the candidate must be motivated to lead the research sessions. We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher motivated to work in a multidisciplinary team together with neurosurgeons, physical therapists, neurologists and neuroengineers to bring new neurostimulation therapies to children with Cerebral Palsy.
